Inspire Australia to move more and increase relevance for The Body Coach app and PE with Joe, in a flooded space already retained by so many local fitness gurus.
Joe Wicks’ mission in life is to raise awareness of the benefits of physical health on our mental health and wellbeing. Manifest wanted to not only celebrate Joe’s mission but also shine a light on his accomplishments to date and vision for the future via a highly successful Australian event and media tour.
Joe’s achievements include receiving a MBE from the Crown and becoming a Guinness Book of World Records for the largest live-streamed workout (raising over £500K for the UK National Health Service), Manifest developed a robust media strategy that not only shared such outstanding services to the community but also announced Joe’s Australian tour, while also raising awareness for his fitness and healthy recipe app, The Body Coach.
Manifest secured top tier media placements across national TV and radio broadcast, print and mainstream online publications, both in the lead up to and during Joe’s time in Australia.
The Melbourne event at Fed Square and Sydney event at Taronga Zoo were managed in their entirety by Manifest which included securing and then liaising on all logistics with venues, supplier management including music, photography and videography direction as well as coordinating charity partners – with funds raised from ticket sales going towards youth mental health network, ReachOut and the Taronga Zoo Conservation Society.
Manifest secured top tier media placements across national TV and radio broadcast (including four of the five major commercial TV stations), print and mainstream online publications, both in the lead up to and during Joe’s time in Australia. Safe to say, Aussies just could not ignore the fact that Joe Wicks was in the country!
Via these media opportunities, Joe was also able to shine a light on his his fitness and recipe app, The Body Coach, as well as his life’s mission to get everyone moving in the name of mental health.
The two mass workout events in Sydney and Melbourne were both huge successes with families and friends not only taking part in the mass workouts but also lining up to get a moment to say hi and grab a selfie with Joe.
Joe took his time to meet everyone who wanted to chat with him (that’s over 500 people in Melbourne and over 800 in Sydney!) What a guy! And the guests were thrilled to be able to tell him share with him personally where they were at in their in fitness and wellbeing journey.
At the conclusion of the tour, it was wonderful to hear Joe say the Taronga event ‘as his best live workout event ever’ (now that’s what we like to hear!) His team was also thrilled with the successes of the tour, including two packed out workout events, a busy and fulfilling media schedule and having also raised over $29K for our charity partners.
