This year, Louis Vuitton launched the second season of its ongoing collaboration with the NBA. The union of these two iconic brands brought to life 90s basketball mania in a transversal celebration of pop culture, fashion and sports.
Manifest’s content team played a part in the shooting and color grading of a suite of assets established to launch this campaign. Working alongside film director Sophie Hur, we took over a block in Harlem, New York, for one day, capturing content using 16mm film. Models from around the world were selected by Virgil Abloh at Louis Vuitton and world-renowned photographer Rennell Medrano.
The footage was put against the track, Skiifall, by Lost Angeles to create an engaging short film that we edited to be used across the Louis Vuitton website and social media channels.
