Opening Melbourne’s coolest beer destination

The Challenge

Launch its first venue — the KAIJU! Cantina, spotlighting the suburban location and leveraging the brand’s credibility within the beer industry.

Our Approach

We crafted a narrative connecting the brewery’s decade in beer with its brand new watering hole to welcome craft beer nerds and newcomers alike to KAIJU! Cantina.

Manifest teamed up with KAIJU! To spread the word far and wide about Melbourne’s newest waterhole, filled with beer, banter and bites.

Because a picture tells a 1000 words, Manifest coordinated a photo shoot of the stunning space to capture the Melbourne post-war suburban décor, colourful murals, the people, the food, and – obviously – the beer.

Due to the Omicron surge, rather than hosting a large press event, we opted to host media for private one-on-one lunch and dinners with the founders so they could still stop by to check out the space and experience the offering at hand.

The goal was to land KAIJU! In every major food and beverage and things to do Melbourne media title — and that’s exactly what we did.
