A Manifest Account Director in a sentence (or a few):

Your job is to maintain trust and confidence with clients and within the Manifest team, overseeing the execution of both day-to-day relationships and campaign executions while helping reach key business objectives. You are the heartbeat of the company, bridging the gap between senior management and the day-to-day account teams. It is your job to keep your finger on the pulse of both client service and team performance whilst contributing to the overall running of the business and getting stuck into winning new clients that help us cultivate our Manifest values.

What you’ll do:

  • Run existing accounts, driving forward the new business process and participating in business development as part of the senior team
  • Take a lead on client management, results generation and organic growth of accounts
  • Provide consultancy to clients – establishing a position of respect and influence with clients to push through bold campaign ideas and keep plans on track
  • Take control of team management – including development and training of junior members of staff
  • Keep a detailed track of internal profitability/time management and report this to the ExCo, alongside solutions for potential issues
  • Maintain an industry-leading position for Manifest through our own PR and marketing activities
  • Participate in capacity planning, recruitment, people development and team training
  • Take a proactive role in lead generation, approaching prospects, developing creds materials and case studies, preparing and presenting pitches and proposals, closing sales, coordinating team contributions to the overall new business process
  • Contribute to the day-to-day running of the Manifest office, including proactive suggestions for improving the working environment
  • Help maintain a harmonious working culture, tackling smaller team issues and eliminating factors that undermine the Manifest values
  • Ensure campaigns are run with the key Manifest characteristics: Bold, Beautiful, Brilliant
  • Ensure that teams kick the shit out of the opportunity to be remarkable every day, and see this as a core goal for their work

  • You are relationship-oriented – you can forge and develop strong relationships at all levels within client organizations – entry level to executive level
  • You are knowledgeable – you provide unrivaled knowledge about clients’ businesses and a thirst to find out more
  • You are entrepreneurial – you have a desire to seek out new opportunities to expand Manifest’s range of products and services, as well as new revenue streams from existing clients
  • You have an eye for detail – you have a keen eye for detail and the ability to generate that in others, ensuring we maintain high standards of work
  • You are inquisitive – you are naturally up to speed on the latest PR, social media and content marketing tools, techniques, and innovations and how we can implement them to the benefit of our clients
  • You are a delegator – you understand the importance of delegation to keep activities running to schedule and plans established in advance of activity
  • You are a reliable and sound mentor – you supervise, motivate and mentor more junior members of staff and offer counsel to senior management teams to offer a team perspective on the impact of organizational changes
  • You lead by example – you attend industry networking events and coach others to do so effectively
  • You are a reporting evangelist – you encourage the analysis and evaluation of PR and social media campaigns and have an ability to communicate their importance to junior team members
  • You are profit-focused – you are commercially-minded and excellent at time management, negotiation and sales
  • You are passionate – you demonstrate a passion for exceeding clients’ expectations, ability to spot trends, ownership mindset and ambition

Salary and benefits:

  • Salary range: $115,000 – $130,000
