We’re on the hunt for a detail-orientated, creatively agile designer to join our global team.
Working on a variety of projects from branding & digital design to campaign work through to artworking, you’ll be working alongside a talented team of strategists, art directors, creative directors, designers and account managers to help bring local & international brands and their campaigns to life.
We’re looking to grow our branding and design team as part of our recent recruitment drive across the entire business. These are exciting times for us and we’re looking for fresh talent to help us push forward. Typical tasks include:
— Working with our brand strategist to build brands that change the world
— Developing brand design work under the direction of creative director / chief design officer
— Developing campaign ideas/identities for our campaign teams / new business pitches
— Creating brand guidelines & collating brand assets for handoff
— Designing social media assets for clients and in-house
You’ll be working as part of our global team, collaborating with all of our offices across different time zones so remote & flexible working is part of the role. Ideally, you’ll be UK based and be able to work in either our London or Manchester offices but being based elsewhere won’t put you at a disadvantage.
— Solid understanding of creative suite (Ai, Indd, PS & XD specifically)
— A good understanding of MS Office (ie you can work in it without swearing)
— You’re all about the ‘big idea’ and it runs throughout your work
— Keen eye for detail. You know your bleed from your slug.
— Excellent problem solving & communication skills
— You can manage your own time & work to strict deadlines
— You’re into processes and work well to a brief but you’re also able to conjure some magic with a 5 line brief from the creative team (which they’ll love you for)
Some nice to haves:
— Experience with After Effects & Premiere
— Experience with Asana & Harvest
— Experience with WordPress & Mailchimp
— Knowledge of HTML & CSS
— Ability to speak Swedish (or a grasp of the Swedish language)
Passionate about design with a keen eye for detail. You might even use Grammarly so that your spelling is on point. You think Oxford commas are the devil’s game. You’re good at managing your own time and confident enough to speak up if you ever feel overwhelmed or are struggling with workloads.
You have good communication skills and be able to visualise ( and embellish) some of the frankly, quite preposterous ideas our creative teams come up with (it’s all worth it tho – sometimes your work turns up on This Morning and Phil Schofield says it’s ace).
You’ll bring a different perspective to the business, joining brainstorms and new business pitches for a wide range of clients.
Mid-weight designers will have at least 3 years of agency or in-house experience and have good working knowledge about production techniques.
Juniors will ideally have some agency experience or knowledge of what the industry is like (either from placements or internships). You’re eager to learn and try your hand at different things. You’re happy working on small jobs as well as helping out on large scale projects.
Perks & Benefits:
We have thrown out the rule book when it comes to corporate benefits and instead built a programme that helps support happiness at home and at work. We call it Manifest Balance.
Our benefits are not only incentives to join, but catalysts for lifestyle changes, support during the bad times and the good, and just fun things to bring the team together. They include:
Duration: Full time / Remote
Salary: Starting from £23k (Junior), £33k (Mid) but we can chat about that
If this sounds like your kind of gig we’d love to hear from you. Send applications to firstname.lastname@example.org
